Or the little apple tree is a two bedroom gite and separate from the main house. This former caretaker’s house has been fully restored with taste and carefully decorated with style and elegance.
When entering the gite, visitors are greeted by the beautiful fireplace in the main lounge and although not used in the summer the wood burning fire makes for a cozy and romantic stay. Leading on to the dining area and fully equipped kitchen guests will be home from home.
Everything is provided to fully meet the needs of guests including microwave, coffee machine, TV with freeview access to either UK or French channels and a seating area for up to 4 guests.
Additionally, there is a family bathroom leading off from the kitchen and also a bedroom with a double bed at the other end of the gite with beautiful views over the pool area.
Upstairs is really a hidden gem. The steep loft stairs lead to the master bedroom which is approximately 50sqm in size with its own lounge area and free standing bath. There is equally an old Louis XIV style double bed and antique furnishings to match the style and elegance of this room.
The soft lighting, low ceilings and restored stone walls really make this bedroom a feature and a space that adults will want to keep away from the kids.
Outside the gite there is direct access to the pool and also an outside WC to avoid having wet feet in the gite. There is additionally amble seating area under the plumb tree which provides the most amazing fruit in the summer for which guests are free to help themselves to.
There is also BBQ facilities and a table which seats 6 guests. The pool area is equipped with loungers and brollies for when shade is needed and there is also a little swing on the old oak tree in front of the gite which is a favourite for younger guests.
