Or the old grape wine in its day was a former butcher’s shop during the time when the house was run as a corn mill. The gite has 3 bedroom and can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge and can therefore cater for an additional 2 guests if required.
The gite has recently been restored and and provides a wonderful space for a family stay. When entering the gite from the main courtyard there is a dining area seating 6 guests on the left and then on the right the lounge area with seating and TV equipped with free view UK or French channels.
Leading from the lounge is the modern open plan and fully equipped kitchen. Everything is catered for therefore it should be home from home for guests.
Beyond the kitchen and the lounge there is a downstairs family bathroom which if locked from the lounge side of the gite becomes a private ensuite bathroom for the adjoining bedroom.
The downstairs bedroom is really a rare treat for guests with beautiful views through the window onto the pool area which in spring also has the best cherry blossom to the double doors which lead out onto the vast terrace area. The best time of day to be on the terrace is before it gets too hot in the morning and it is fantastic to have breakfast here and watch the wild rabbits running around in the garden.
The terrace area also has dining for 6 guests and an umbrella should shade be required and not to forget a BBQ and seating area which can be found adjoining to the kitchen through the double french doors.
Upstairs leads guests to 2 further bedroom. On the right is the kids room providing 2 single beds and then to the left there is a further double bedroom which also has its own ensuite bathroom.
The gite is very modern yet complemented in the keeping of its original style and character allowing for a space which is cozy, comfortable and elegant.
